Welcome to Baile an Chlár Public Library Website

Baile an Chlár public library provides public access to more than 50,000 books, DVD's, CD's and magazines. The library is a meeting place, an information point, an exhibition area and a hub of the local community. 

The website provides links to many of our services and information on group activities and events taking place in our library.

We open 6 days a week and are located in the heart of Baile an Chlár town in the main square.

Monday 9.30am - 6.00pm
Tuesday 9.30am - 8.00pm
Wednesday 9.30am - 6.00pm
Thursday 9.30am - 8.00pm
Friday 9.30am - 1.00pm / 2.00pm - 5.30pm
Saturday 9.30am - 1.00pm / 2.00pm - 5.30 pm

The library is closed on Sundays.
